This week in our WordPress SEO plugins series, we’re discussing Rank Math, a self-proclaimed “Swiss Army Knife of WordPress SEO” with both paid and free options.
(Check out last week’s post, where we discuss Yoast SEO, a tool that is meant to help WordPress users create better, optimized content.)
Specific features of Rank Math are somewhat dependent on the plan you purchase, but some of the plugin’s key features include a comprehensive SEO dashboard, keyword research, and content AI. Some premium features include keyword rank tracking and a schema generator.
The Rank Math SEO WordPress plugin tracks website information and reports it in the provided dashboard. Users are able to click through various modules – such as the 404 monitor and Link Counter modules – in order to see the latest notes on performance. Users can also use Rank Math while creating a new post by clicking on the plugin button; suggestions will be made to your copy as you write.
Rank Math offers a wide variety of useful features. Here are just a few of the most important ones.
Dashboard: Rank Math’s dashboard provides users with a ton of information. Use this to get an overview of search traffic, average ranking position, and your overall optimization score.
SEO Analysis: Both free and paid versions of Rank Math offer an advanced SEO analysis tool, which can quickly scan your site for improvement opportunities.
Post Optimizations: Rank Math provides content analysis and “tailor-made” SEO recommendations for your posts.
Keyword Optimization: With Rank Math, you can optimize a post or a page for up to five focus keywords.
Internal Links: Free and paid versions of Rank Math provide users with internal linking suggestions based on published post history.
Google Analytics Integration: Rank Math allows users to integrate with Google Analytics, making it possible to see GA information from the WordPress dashboard.
You can download the Rank Math plugin directly right here. After completing installation and configuration, you’ll be able to access the dashboard from your WordPress menu. You’ll also be able to see Rank Math SEO suggestions as you write new pages and posts.
